Bob Rehak has a Fact Problem…

In a blog (http://rehakforschoolboard.com/parents-want-information-not-lies-intimidation) posted under the “News” heading found on Bob Rehak’s campaign website, he calls the Kingwood TEA Party a hate group and stated that they were intimidating a “young mother – who is also a candidate” because she does not support vouchers. He further makes an assertion that the Kingwood TEA Party is in favor of vouchers.

FACT – The Kingwood TEA Party is in favor of Educational Savings Accounts, not vouchers.

The “young mother” running for school board is in fact, Abigail Whitmire. He goes on to accuse TEA Party leaders of “furtively” taking photos of a tent located on public property outside of a polling location where she and her child were, while passing out literature that stated her employment with Planned Parenthood.

FACT – Abigail Whitmire did work for Planned Parenthood as a Public Affairs Field Specialist. This information was found on her LinkedIn profile.

Bob Rehak has threatened to sue for taking photos of Ms. Whitmire along with her supporters while they are speaking with or waiting for voters at the public polling place. If Ms. Whitmire, Mr. Rehak and their supporters feel their children are at risk at the polling location, why are they taking them there? No justifiable answer was given.

FACT – If you are in plain view of the public, you can ask for someone to stop filming/photographing you, however they do not have to stop. There is not a “Reasonable Expectation of Privacy” for candidates especially when outside a polling location. http://carterlawaz.com/2013/06/no-expectation-of-privacy-in-public/

FACT – The only “Reasonable Expectation of Privacy” a candidate has is to that of their medical records. http://www.ethicapublishing.com/inconvenientorinvasive/2CH5.pdf

Bob Rehak and his supporters are taking a page out of the Democrat playbook by trying to bully and intimidate grassroots activists into backing off. While you may not see them at the polls, the grassroots are actively working elsewhere in the community, county and state. http://thefederalist.com/2016/10/10/16-times-democrats-tried-to-prosecute-their-opponents/

A member of the voting community posed a question in response to Mr. Rehak’s assertion that almost 1 in 4 7th graders cannot read at grade level (http://rehakforschoolboard.com/good-reading-skills-fuel-upward-mobility/ & http://rehakforschoolboard.com/learners-are-earners/ ) in which data from http://tea.texas.gov/perfreport/tapr/index.html was cited. The question asked Mr. Rehak for his opinion as to why scores in HISD, the Houston region and across the state fell from 5th grade to 6th & 7th grades and then increased in 8th grade again. A screenshot of Mr. Rehak response is below.

FACT: According to the TEA website, http://tea.texas.gov/student.assessment/staar/performance-standards, STAAR Performance Standards, STAAR 3–8 Performance Standards Chart. There is jump in required scores from 5th to 6th grade is 47 basis points, 6th to 7th is 45 basis points and 7th to 8th is 26 basis points.

Mr. Rehak states that 23% of students cannot read at grade level, however, the STAAR test is not a test of a student’s ability to read and comprehend, it is a test that tests higher level thinking.

Mr. Rehak had interviewed with the TEA Party. They decided that Mr. Rehak’s idea of reading intervention is not conducive to a successful plan. He only issued a short-term solution and nothing long-term. However, teaching phonics is a much better plan that employs longer benefits to reading-comprehension. Implementing it at a young elementary stage does work, and long lasting effects. FACT: Mr. Rehak has also been endorsed by the Kingwood Democrats. Using his past livelihood to misrepresent facts is what he does, and very well.

Your Silence is Consent…

Over the last couple of general elections, we have watched this country spiral downward!  The people who couldn’t find it to try to elect someone who was better than a known socialist,  in order to keep this country from heading in a socialist direction because it “violated their conscience” is appalling.

As we sit at yet another crossroads to appoint another leader that will enforce the rule of law (Trump) versus someone who has no respect for it (Clinton), it appears that we will have a murderous, soulless villain poised to take the reins all because people are not willing to vote for someone because it will “violate their conscience”.

I can agree to this ideal to a point!  But please take note of what has occurred because people didn’t vote because it “violated their conscience”. We have seen an increase on the assault of religious freedoms and business decisions. Practically criminalizing them and bankrupting them!  We have seen an increase in ridiculous laws that pave way for more perversion in society by allowing men in women’s restrooms.  Men who lie and deceive their way into those restrooms to video them.

We have seen and know of instances in which the Democratic candidate has taken cover by the mass media that has come to love power and being in bed with that power.  First amendment rights don’t exist to them.  Especially to those that oppose them.

Those that say they are going to “vote their conscience” by not voting, have help to throw this nation into the quagmire we are in.  By not “violating” their “conscience” they are taking a stand. Really?

So, when it comes to taking a stand against an over-reaching government, especially one that has embraced a two tier system of justice, your conscience allows it to continue when you choose not to vote. You “voting your conscience” has begun to violate the fellow citizens of our country who have employed you to do your part!  You have engaged, by not engaging, to run this country on the fast track to doom. You will allow a very liberal justice system to come not just for me, but for those like me and even those like you!

Like a person who refuses to take a job in an industry because it violates a moral code, that is a choice that can be made.  You may not get paid well to do something less “glamorous”, but at least that is a choice you have made and can live according to that lifestyle choice.  Not voting in this election is a luxury you cannot afford.  Sure you have the choice not to vote for the top of the ticket, but you also help to destroy the country we all have come to love.  Your silence is consent this election!

Uncle Bill……

Bill Clinton has always been a smoothie.  Hell, look at all the women he’s lassoed into his coifs.   You think Monica Lewinsky will ever be able to get past that relationship?  Who knew that intern could ever become such a degrading term?  Interns and cigars, yeah Clinton was living the life in the White House.  I’m certain there were plenty to go around for him.

Recently, I have been wondering if he has been hanging around good old Grandpa Biden.  I mean Biden has so many gaffes it is hard to keep up with.  Can you imagine what Billy would have been up to if Hillary had won?  I would be willing to bet that he would be having the time of his life.  Although, if that were the case, I would almost be willing to bet he would be nearly six feet under by now.  I wouldn’t be surprised if Hilly had him offed if he were having too much fun.

As we all have heard by now, Bill Clinton was on the campaign trail in Wisconsin to assist with the governor’s recall election to unseat Scott Walker.  According to Breitbart.com sources, there were only a couple of hundred people there compared to Governor Walker’s rally.  I suppose Clinton isn’t what he once was?  Let’s change focus to the Obama campaign shall we?

The Obama campaign has been attacking GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney’s tenure at Bain capital, stating that he laid people off and shipped jobs overseas.  Well, often lost on the Obama administration is that he knew what it took to run a business.  As a matter of fact, he knows what it is to work as opposed to going and sitting in the Senate and voting “Present” on crucial bills.  Mitt made his money, not lived off the tit of the American taxpayer.

Coming to Mitt’s defense, and surprising as it is, Bill Clinton.  Clinton was quoted as saying that Romney’s record at Bain Capital was “sterling”.  I don’t know about you, but I hear the word sterling and I think spectacular or shiny.

Granted, Uncle Bill became the country’s first “black” president, an homage given to him by Maya Angelou, she is no slouch either.  But then you get the country’s first black president and suddenly during an election year we get our first “gay” president.  Looks to me like our first “black” president is screwing our first “gay” president, and there’s nothing the bitch can do about it.

Nerds Rule….

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately (I know, scary right?) about how when I was younger I was called a nerd for liking school.  Boy do I wish I would have not listened to those that said that.  Little did any of us know that not only is learning good but it will take you places.

As a young kid we, I say we because it was a generational thing, were under the impression that unless you were cool (you know the athletic type) it was difficult to be accepted.  Who doesn’t want to be accepted?  Now days, I wish I would have been more of a nerd.   Had I known then what I know now, I wish I would have with stood being called a nerd.  No one likes to have labels like that attached to them, especially when they are intended to be derogatory.   Now days, I believe that has changed.  If you want to be cool you have to be a nerd.

Most nerds get the girls anymore too.  Now wait a minute, is it because the girls they attract are attracted to them or is it that they know they will make major bucks down the line?  Oh no, that can’t be it.  No, I know, the brainy guys make those girls hot when they talk nerd.  Ladies, am I right?  Or maybe they want to eat their brains.  Ok, the link isn’t that appropriate, but still, it happened.

Take a look at Steve Jobs and Bill Gates (granted Steve Jobs has passed on, but the point remains).  Two TOTAL nerd types.  Imagine all the chastisement that they encountered for being such people.  Look at them now, they continued to learn and apply the sciences they learned and developed.  Their wealth of knowledge took them places.  Their wealth of knowledge became their wealth.

In Massachusetts, they have over one hundred universities in that region.  In Massachusetts, they also have the most educated workforce in the nation.  As most adults have noticed, all the nerds have made some of the greatest achievements to the quality of life in our nation.  Where are all the cool people now? Oh wait, they are running companies.

NERDS RULE!!
